5TH ANNUAL TOUR DE LOVELL LARGEST AND FASTEST EVER

The Town of Lovell had their largest and most competitive Tour de Lovell ever. Registrations topped at 96, and 85 finished this years event in both the tour and the 3 mile kids tour. Eighteen racers broke 55 minutes on a 20.6 mile course, and the overall winners: Boulder, Colorado resident William Buick and Paignton, united Kingdom resident Holly Russell shined as impressive 5th annual TDL Champions. A new award for the tour, First Year-Round Lovell Resident was awarded to Christopher Darling, who placed 6th overall and just 7 seconds behind William.(ADULT RESULTS)(YOUTH RESULTS) The Lovell Recreation Department and the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library would like to thank all the participants for racing and supporting both organizations efforts in this fundraising activity. ALL would not have been possible without Fryeburg & Stoneham Rescue, Oxford Sheriffs Department, Lovell Volunteer Fire department, and the countless volunteers manning the course, working registration tables, and setting up and breaking down the event. Racers and Tours keep returning every year largely due to the Lovell Residents welcoming attitiude and the spectators cheers. WELL DONE - LOVELL! Sincerely, Michael Mendonca, Your Director
